Soneva Gili is set in one of the largest lagoons in the Maldives on the private tropical island of Lankanfushi in the Malé Atoll, just a 20-minute speedboat ride from the Malé International Airport.

Each has its own private water garden and sun deck, and the bathrooms have a separate shower accessed along an open-air walkway.
The Soneva Gili Villa Suites are 29 water villas each 210 square metres in area with king-size bed and some with two single beds, large open air living room with daybeds and dining area, roof top sun deck with daybed and two different dining facilities, Espresso Machine, mini bar, personal safe and hairdryer, CD, DVD, Hi-Fi stereo system, television with satellite channel, etc.
The 250 square metre Soneva Gili Residences are 8 water residences secluded for total privacy and with all the facilities available in the Villa Suites. The 7 Soneva Gili Crusoe Residences stand alone in the Indian Ocean, secluded for total privacy and come with Kitchenette and Private Rowing Boat / Pontoon Boat Shuttle facility to the main island.
Soneva Gili Private Reserve (1,400 sq. m.) is the epitome of luxury in the midst of the Indian Ocean and is accessible only by boat. The villa enjoys an uninterrupted view of both the coral reef fringing the islands and the Indian Ocean and comprises 5 separate buildings designed in rustic chic style. It has two master suites, each with ceiling to floor windows on three sides and private indoor and outdoor relaxation areas and sundecks.
Other special features include private spa facility with sauna, steam room, indoor and outdoor treatment pavilion and upstairs air-conditioned gymnasium. Resident Mr. and Mrs. Friday (Personal Butlers) are on call 24 hours. A fully equipped gourmet kitchen is available for private dining, snacks or a simple cappuccino. Guests will be invited to design their own cellar selection from the list of 300 wines. A private 400hp 36’ speedboat with crew will be on call at all times. The Soneva Gili Spa Suite includes a couple’s treatment room with air-conditioning, two treatment beds, music system and latest treatment facilities.
Guests Services at Soneva Gili and Spa include airport representative, baby sitting, pharmacy and hospital located in Male’ (20 minutes by speedboat), resident doctor, etc.
Soneva Gili offers romantic dining experiences like a moonlit dinner on the deck of your villa, a sunset champagne cruise on a traditional dhoni, or dinners in the underground Gourmet Cellar, all served with the choicest of wine and malts. Cuisine is a blend of international influences and indigenous flavours together with the freshest ingredients from the resort’s own organic gardens. Private Villa barbecues and desert island picnics are other wonderful treats on offer.
