Since its inception, Sun Spa Resorts Pvt. Ltd, a spa management company incorporated in the Maldives has always strived for excellence – choosing only the best products for their clients and at the same time offering personalised service beyond the highest expectations.
With the primary aim to develop, manage and operate full spa and wellness facilities, the company’s first Sun Spa was opened in December 2005 at Olhuveli Beach & Spa Resort followed by the second spa at Vilu Reef Beach & Spa Resort in February 2006. The Sun Spa Resorts family grew even further by establishing its new brand within the company: ‘Shui’ in December 2007 at the luxury boutique resort The Beach House at Manafaru Maldives. More Sun Spa & Shui openings are scheduled for mid to late 2008.

The Beach House at Manafaru is located in the north of the Maldives, in the pristine, almost untouched lagoon-ringed Haa Alifu Atoll. The exquisite island of Manafaru is a 45-minute domestic plane-ride followed by a 45-minute speedboat ride from Male International Airport.
Shui is an exquisite, luxurious escape with the five elements treatment villas, Ayurvedic villas, Thai yoga and Japanese Shiatsu gazebos, a manicure and pedicure room and a juice bar counter. Each of the individual treatment rooms offers an outdoor courtyard, rain shower and flower bath in absolute privacy. One can also book into one of the two Grand Beach Pavilions for a choice of spa treatments in one’s own private spa facilities.
Treatments incorporate fresh, local ingredients wherever possible and one can watch the therapist prepare these fresh ingredients for the treatment.
Shui offers wholesome spa cuisine; full treatment programmes, Ayurvedic therapy and consultations by the Spa’s own Ayurvedic doctor and even Yoga and Meditation sessions. Shui will also introduce periodical presentations of specialist Healers, and Acupuncture Therapists. A local Hair Stylist, trained internationally by Vidal Sassoon, operates the luxurious beauty salon. The exquisite Shui retail boutique offers The Pevonia Botanica range, a wide variety of traditional Asian spa products, etc.
Shui Signature Treatments at The Beach House at Manafaru Maldives include Shui Moonlight Magic, Veli Modun, Chocolate Extravagance, Fusion Indulgence and Jamu Traditional Bali. Little things matter at Sun Spa Resorts. A Sorbet Butler does his rounds dispensing refreshing sorbet. The resort maintains two additional private islands, which can become venues for intimate dinners or for jet-skiers, and also organises visits to neighbouring islands.
